APPLICATIONS OPEN SOON
You're already capable.

The question is whether the right people know it.

You've put in the work. You show up, deliver results, and carry more than your title suggests. But somewhere between your output and your opportunity, there's a gap β€” and it has nothing to do with your talent.

Early in your career, no one hands you the playbook on how to build visibility, earn trust across a room, or step into leadership before someone officially invites you. Feedback is inconsistent. Access is uneven. And the higher you aim, the more you realize that what got you here won't automatically get you there.

That's not a capability gap. It's an access and activation gap β€” and it's the gap Connectivity Uncapped was built to close.

In the first five years of your career, confidence can be shaky, feedback is inconsistent, and no one hands you the playbook on how to show up, stand out, and build influence.

That’s where Connectivity Uncapped comes in.

WHAT THE NEXT FIVE MONTHS COULD CHANGE

Connectivity Uncapped is a five-month capability and social capital activation experience for early-career professionals in Charlotte.

HOW THE JOURNEY WORKS
01

Month 1: Recognition & Belonging

See what you carry.

The journey begins with an immersive retreat designed to create trust, belonging, and honest conversation. You'll begin recognizing the experiences, strengths, perspectives, and capabilities you already carry while building relationships with fellow participants and senior leaders who will journey alongside you.

Explore the Retreat Experience
A Clear Throughline From Identity to Impact

Each engagement moves participants from personal reflection into real relationships, practical leadership, and lasting momentum.

Foundation Leadership Identity Strengths, values, and the leader each participant wants to become.
Context Regional Stakes A concise grounding in Charlotte's growth and talent gap.
Practice Executive Roundtables Mutual learning, mentorship, and live Value Exchange practice.
Connection Leader Journeys Real stories about the choices, challenges, and people that shaped growth.
Momentum Commitment & Follow-Through Mentor commitments, pay-it-forward actions, and retreat data captured for continued growth.
02

Month 2: Capability & Contribution

Understand what you bring and where it creates value.

You'll go deeper into your strengths, story, experiences, and the contributions only you can make. The work is personal before it's professional because understanding what you carry is the foundation for knowing where and how to contribute it.

03

Month 3: Connection & Social Capital

Build relationships that expand possibility.

Your network expands intentionally. You'll build meaningful relationships across Charlotte's professional, civic, and community ecosystem while learning how trust, reciprocity, visibility, and social capital create pathways to new possibilities.

04

Month 4: Access & Opportunity

Learn to move through rooms, relationships, and opportunities.

You'll move from simply having relationships to understanding how to activate them. Through real conversations, environments, and experiences, you'll strengthen your ability to work within institutions, build credibility, exercise initiative, and recognize opportunities when they emerge.

05

Month 5: Activation & Forward Movement

Turn what you've developed into intentional action.

You'll close the journey the way it started: in community. You'll integrate what you've learned, identify your next moves, deepen the relationships you've built, and leave with greater clarity about where you're headed, and who you're bringing with you.

The Relational Competency Model

Practiced in a Real Leadership Context

Leadership is activated through connection. The CU Relational Competency Model develops the seven skills that turn connection into lasting access, mobility, and community influence. It shows up in the room, in real conversations, and in practicing how to build trust, exchange value, and carry relationships forward β€” through the five-month journey and beyond.

01

Emotional Intelligence & Self-Awareness

Reading your own reactions and impact in front of executives who may shape your career.

02

Showing Up

Practicing presence, authenticity, and preparedness in real executive conversations.

03

The Value Exchange

Understanding what you bring to an executive relationship, not only what you hope to receive.

04

Intergenerational Connectivity

Bridging generational differences around leadership, opportunity, and who leads next.

05

Sustaining Social Capital

Building relationships designed to continue throughout the remaining four months and beyond.

06

The Art of Reconciliation

Navigating friction across generations, roles, and status with clarity and grace.

07

Impartation

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO INVEST IN THIS WORK

Charlotte is growing. The talent is here. The ambition is here.

What's harder to build β€” and easier to lose β€” is the connective tissue: the relationships, mentorship, belonging, and access that turn capable professionals into long-term contributors, civic leaders, and community builders.

Connectivity Uncapped exists at that intersection.

Every cohort is an investment in the region's leadership pipeline β€” not just in individual careers.

Across our growing alumni community, participants have earned promotions, expanded their professional networks, stepped into new leadership opportunities, and reinvested in the communities around them.

That's the return.

Not just one professional's trajectory β€” but a stronger, more connected Charlotte.
